IN WHICH CASES DOES OPTIONATA BUYER PROTECTION APPLY?
You can always make use of Optionata buyer protection when you have ordered a watch from us. You must have placed the order via the Optionata system or, in the case of an on-site appointment, conclude the purchase contract with us.
HOW LONG DOES OPTIONATA BUYER PROTECTION APPLY?
If you wish to report a problem, please contact us within 14 days of receipt of delivery, quoting your order number.
GUARANTEE
WHAT SECURITY DOES A WATCH GUARANTEE GIVE ME?
A guarantee promise is an additional, voluntary service from us as a dealer or the manufacturer, which guarantees unconditional compensation. The guarantee promise refers to the functionality of certain parts or the entire watch over a previously defined period of time.
We give you a 1-year guarantee on the functionality of the watches that you buy from us. The purchase contract is dated and stamped or signed by us. This is also the guarantee period.

HOW DO I BUY A SELECTED WATCH ON OPTIONATA?
Very easily! On the product pages you can buy the watch directly from Optionata. To do this, click on the green "Buy" button on the product page. You can choose between alternative payment methods in the checkout process. The Optionata team is at your side at all times throughout the purchase process and ensures that your purchase runs smoothly.

We are not a platform, so we as Optionata are your contractual partner. Please take a look at our relevant terms and conditions.
WHERE CAN I REPORT CONCERNS ABOUT THE AUTHENTICITY OF A WATCH?
We select each watch hand-picked and selected directly by ourselves. So we pretty much rule out the possibility. Nevertheless - you can report a suspicious article directly to us. Please describe the abnormalities in detail. We will then check your report and, if necessary, initiate the appropriate measures.
HOW DO I RECOGNIZE A COUNTERFEIT?
We select each watch hand-picked and selected directly by ourselves. So we pretty much rule out the possibility. Nevertheless - you can report a suspicious article directly to us. Please describe the abnormalities in detail. We will then check your report and, if necessary, initiate the appropriate measures.
If we can prove that we are offering a replica, we will take it back on request and refund the purchase price.
Please note that authentic branded watches are sometimes fitted with replacement parts during repairs that do not correspond 1:1 to the original parts that were originally installed in this model. Especially with vintage watches there is sometimes a lack of spare parts.

If you have your eye on a watch, order it using the green "Buy" button. Furthermore, you can contact us at any time via email or telephone and get in touch. On request we can organize an appointment on site in our office.
HOW FAST IS THE WATCH AVAILABLE?
We are not a platform, we trade watches that we own. Therefore, our watches are immediately available.
WHAT IS THE REFERENCE NUMBER OF A LUXURY WATCH?
The reference number of a luxury watch uniquely identifies the watch model.
SALE OF A WATCH
HOW SOON WILL I GET MY MONEY AFTER THE SALE?
When selling to Optionata, you will receive the money in cash if handed over personally or by bank transfer if handed over by post and thus within 1-3 days for the bank transfer.
WHAT DOES IT COST TO SELL TO OR THROUGH OPTIONATA?
We offer 2 variants for the sale of your watches in our shop:

Sale to us = cash immediately

Sale on commission through our platform. You send us your watch and we take care of the entire sales process: take professional photos of the watch, prepare the exclusive newsletter for our registered customers and interested parties, create the online ad and manage the entire sales process and sale. You need to worry about anything. In the case of a successful sale, we charge a commission of 20% of the sales price. This commission is only due if you successfully sell your watch. We retain the commission when the sales price is paid out to you directly.
HOW LONG WILL MY ADVERT BE ONLINE?
Your ad will first be sent as part of our exclusive newsletter and then shown online on Optionata for 1 month. During this time, you may not offer or sell the item elsewhere. If you haven't sold your item by this time, we'll get in touch with you to discuss other options.
HOW MANY WATCHES CAN I PUBLISH FOR PURCHASE FROM YOU AT A TIME?
You can have up to 10 advertisements published by us at the same time.
DOES OPTIONATA BUY WATCHES DIRECTLY?
As an online retailer, Optionata buys watches directly. Trading always takes place between Optionata and the seller. Therefore, we also buy, appraise or check goods on an ongoing basis.
WHEN IS THE SALES COMMISSION DUE?
If you have opted for variant 2, a commission of 20% of the sales price will be due for a successful sale. This commission is only due if you successfully sell your watch. We retain the commission when the sales price is paid out to you directly. The balanced amount will be paid out to you immediately.
ABOUT FINANCING OPTIONS
The basic requirement for approval of online financing is a positive credit check from the payment service provider Klarna.
